FIRST TEAM
Hadley Ashton, Fr., Erie: The BoCoPreps.com golfer of the year was dominant for Erie and won the Class 4A tournament in Grand Junction.
Logan Hale, So., Erie: After taking sixth in 3A with Vail Mountain last year, the 4A first teamer was solid throughout the spring and finished seventh this season — helping EHS to the team championship.
Ava Hickey, So., Fairview: The Knights sophomore finished sixth in a competitive Front Range League and was the top-area finisher at the 5A tournament at the Olde Course at Loveland, placing 16th.
Alena Kasanicky, Fr., Niwot: The freshman finished second in the Long Peaks League and took 11th at the 4A tournament.
Jess Mason, Sr., Holy Family: The 2021 4A champ won her final high school tournament, claiming a regional title. She did not try to defend it after receiving a sponsor exemption to play in the Colorado Women’s Open during the same time.
Ayla Milan, So., Legacy: The sophomore was the top-area finisher in the FRL, placing fifth. She took 23rd at the 5A tournament.
Timbre Shehee, Sr., Mead: Shehee won the Northern Colorado Athletic Conference going away and finished tied for third at the 4A tournament.
Noelle Thompson, Jr., Peak to Peak: The junior won the 3A Metro League with a scoring average of 75. She went on to win regionals and took second at state.
Hope Torres, Fr., Prospect Ridge Academy: A first-teamer on the Metro League and on the 3A state list, the freshman finished fourth at the 3A tournament at Broadlands Golf Course.
Coach — Brandon Bird, Erie: His Tigers won the 4A individual and team championship.
