FIRST TEAM

C — JD Jones, Sr., Fairview: The University of Miami commit, a stout defender behind the dish, can rake, too, as he hit five homers and drove in 20 runs.

C — Camden Ross, Jr., Broomfield: The highly-touted catching prospect slugged five home runs and was pivotal in the Eagles’ run to the Class 5A postseason.

INF — Adam Benes, Sr., Longmont: The shortstop hit .426 and raked .529 with runners in scoring position. He was also 11-for-11 in stolen bases.

INF — Nathan Churchich, Sr., Silver Creek: Churchich hit .444 and drove in 20 runs for the Raptors.

INF — Jared Delgado, Jr., Holy Family: The multi-position infielder hit .450 with nine doubles and 15 RBIs, helping lead the Tigers to the final day of the 4A season.

INF — Devon Nowells, Sr., Longmont: Nowells hit .400, drove in 20 runs and scored 20 runs. He also went 3-0 on the mound, posting a 1.45 ERA in 9 2/3 innings.

INF — Rafael Ruiz Jr., Jr., Lyons: The shortstop/catcher hit .625 with 10 doubles, seven triples and 29 RBIs. His 1.161 slugging percentage led all area players.

INF — Macully Sehr, Sr., Legacy: The Front Range League first-teamer had a team-leading .513 on-base percentage, helping lead the Lightning to the 5A postseason.

INF — Gabe Springer, Jr., Fairview: The Stanford commit hit five homers, drove in 21 runs and scored 26 more in helping lead the Knights to the final day of the 5A season.

OF — Aaron Brakel, Sr., Broomfield: The Front Range League first-teamer hit safely in 14 games and made just one error in 35 chances in the outfield.

OF — Lane Beumer, Jr., Mead: The NCAC first-teamer hit .419 and had an on-base plus slugging percentage of 1.105.

OF — Greysen Carter, Sr., Fairview: The Vanderbilt commit went 6-2 on the mound with a 4.06 ERA. From the plate, he hit six homers, had 18 extra-base hits and drove in 33 runs.

OF — Connor Cooney, Sr., Holy Family: The Holy Cross commit hit in 19 of 23 games and did not commit a single error in center.

OF — Adam Moser, Sr., Fairview: Moser had multi-hit games in the first three rounds of the 5A postseason and finished the season batting .406 with 22 RBIs.

OF — Luke Silverman, Sr., Fairview: Silverman, who is also the school’s tennis ace, drove in 20 runs, had 12 extra-base hits and hit four homers.

OF — Sam Stem, Jr., Erie: Stem, named first team in the NCAC, hit .434 with four doubles and five triples.

DH — Cale Claridge, Sr., Legacy: The senior led the team in hits (24), RBIs (23) and batting average (.387).

P — Adam Brookes, Jr., Lyons: Brookes went 5-1 with a 2.54 ERA in 49 2/3 innings. He struck out 81 and walked 16.

P — Blake Hammond, Sr., Holy Family: Hammond went 6-0 on the mound with a 2.22 ERA. He struck out 61 and walked 18.

P — Lucas Hart, Sr., Skyline: Hart held batters to a .154 average in his 27 1/3 innings. He struck out 55.

P — Justin Huffman, Sr., Prospect Ridge Academy: Huffman had a 2.15 ERA in 45 2/3 innings pitched. He struck out 74, good for third in 3A.

P — Chase Prestwich, Sr., Frederick: The next-level pitcher went 3-1 with a 2.04 ERA in 34 1/3 innings pitched. He struck out 65 and walked just 12.

P — Izaak Siefken, Sr., Holy Family: The BoCoPreps.com player of the year hit .478 and drove in 32 runs. On the mound, he went 6-1 with a 2.71 ERA. He was tied in area for most strikeouts at 81.

P — Conor Wolf, Jr., Dawson: One of the most dominant pitchers in the state, Wolf, doing his best Jacob deGrom impression, allowed just one earned run in 29 innings pitched. He struck out 57 and walked only two.

Coach of the year — John Ray, Holy Family: The Tigers went 20-3 and came within one victory of winning the Class 4A state title.
