OH — Sophie Buschmann, Jr., Broomfield: The junior, who will be headed to the University of Hawaii for beach volleyball after the 2021-22 season, led the Eagles with 149 kills on a 40.7% clip. She was named to the first team in the 5A Front Range League.

OH/RS — Quincey Coyle, Jr., Mead: Coyle, on the all-region team for a third straight year, helped lead the Mavericks to a runner-up finish in the 4A state tournament. She finished the season with 209 kills, 48 aces and 107 digs.

OH/MB — Zoe Gibbs, Jr. Niwot: Gibbs, a talented Division-I prospect, helped lead Niwot to an impressive 11-4 season, converting 151 kills, 114 digs and 18 aces. She was named first team in the 4A/3A Longs Peak League.

OH/RS/DS — Payton Jonason, Sr., Longmont: A statistical juggernaut, the player of the year had one more kill per set (5.1) than anyone in the area. She finished with 202 kills on a 50.5% clip to go along with 28 aces and 126 digs.

MB — Sierra Leopold, Sr., Prospect Ridge Academy: Leopold was the force behind Prospect Ridge Academy’s run to just its second state tournament in program history. The 6-foot-4 standout had 162 kills on a ridiculous 55.7% clip.

S — Hailee Martinez, Sr., Mead: Named first team in the 5A/4A NCAC, Martinez had an astounding 702 assists in helping lead the Mavericks to a historic season. The assists were tops in the state. She also tied Coyle for the league lead in aces with 48.

OH — Maggie Olson, Jr., Erie: Olson led the Tigers in kills (220), aces (34) and digs (163). She was named first team in the 5A/4A NCAC as she propelled Erie to a 9-6 record.

OPP — Emma Winter, Jr., Broomfield: The talented junior was named the player of the year in the 5A Front Range League. The dynamic junior had 107 kills, 105 digs and 33 aces in just 37 sets played.

Coach — Mikayla Martinez, Mead: The Mavericks had yet to reach the state semifinals as a program coming into the spring and Martinez led them two set wins shy of a state title. Mead finished runner-up to Palmer Ridge in 4A.
