Mead’s Quincey Coyle helped the Mavericks thrive in Mikayla Martinez’s first year as head coach.

OH/RS – Quincey Coyle, So., Mead: Top three in the Mavericks’ state books in nearly every category, the all-TVL sophomore was 12th in 4A with 287 kills in 80 sets and had a kill percentage of 44.8.

OH/RS – Vicki Fankell, Sr., Broomfield: Among the team leaders for the Eagles throughout their unbeaten run through the Front Range League, she was 15th in 5A with a team-best 301 kills and also finished with 213 digs.

MB – Kea Veenendaal, Sr., Fairview: Voted first team all-conference in the Front Range League, the Knights’ senior middle blocker finished with 76 blocks and also put up 237 kills with a .411 hitting percentage.

OH/RS – Hope Hanak-Harper, Sr., Broomfield: Forming a deadly tandem with fellow senior Vicki Fankell, this second team all-state player had 261 kills with a .326 hitting percentage and was also second on the team with 56 blocks.

OH/RS – Caitlin Volkmann, Sr., Silver Creek: The Northern League player of the year, this Raptors senior led all of Class 4A in kills for the second straight season, pounding 431 with a kill percentage of 50.4 and .312 hitting percentage.

DS/L – Peyton Frank, Sr., Holy Family: Sixth in all of Colorado with 611 digs, the reliable senior averaged 6.4 digs per set and had 609 serve receptions in 96 sets for the Holy Family Tigers and was voted second team all-state in 4A.

S – Jessica Amend, Sr., Erie: The BoCoPreps.com player of the year was sixth in the entire state and tops in the area with 1,007 assists, and also finished with 197 digs and 73 kills while leading the Tigers on their best season in program history.

Coach – Bob Knox, Broomfield: Back in the saddle in his second year with Broomfield after a years-long hiatus, Knox led the Eagles on an undefeated run through conference play on the way to a Front Range League title, a regional title and a 24-3 overall record.
