Noah Lopez, Erie: The sophomore had three wins by fall (in a total time of 5:05) and eventually took the gold at 106s at the Mike Stanley Invite with a pin of Mountain View’s CJ Lovely in 2:52.

Courtney Wristen, Broomfield: The Eagles jumped out to a 3-1 record last week, and Wristen was a spark on both ends with 15.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. That includes a 21-point, 12-rebound game against Castle View.


Grayden Bridwell, Skyline wrestling: At the stacked Mike Stanley Invite at Fairview, Bridwell tallied three falls in a total time of 1:58 and finished off the 145-pound bracket with a gold medal by defeating Thompson Valley’s Justin McLaughlin by 6-3 decision.

Taylor Vandenburg, Longmont Christian basketball: Vandenburg already has two 20-point games under her belt after the Warriors went 2-1 at the Meeker White River Shootout. In all, she averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, three steals and a block per outing.
