Sam Phillips, Boulder soccer: The senior’s 12th goal of the year, which extends a career season best, sent Boulder to an overtime win over pesky Mountain Vista and into the second round of the 5A state playoffs.

Peyton Frank, Holy Family volleyball: Ranked fifth in the state with 553 digs this season, Frank helped the Tigers to a 3-0 week with 75 total digs (6.8 digs per game) and a steady serve-receive that helped transition to offense.


Grady Wolver, Erie soccer: The junior’s third goal of the season was an overtime game-winner for the Tigers, and it just happened to come in the 4A first round playoff game to give Erie its first ever postseason victory.

Phoenix Wilke, Mead volleyball: The Mavericks went 4-0 at the Golden tournament including a win over 5A Loveland, and Wilke was strong at the net with 20 kills and eight blocks in eight games.
