Parker Patchett, Boulder football: The junior led the Panthers with 109 yards on just 11 carries with a touchdown and registered four tackles as BHS shut out Mountain Range 21-0 to move to 2-1 this season.

Vicki Fankell, Broomfield volleyball: The Eagles surged into the 5A rankings this week after winning the Cherry Creek tournament, and Fankell was one of a number of excellent performers as BHS went 4-0 (8-1 in games). Fankell tallied nearly three kills per game, added nine aces, four blocks and 24 digs.

Sage Yazzie, Longmont football: Back in at QB for the Trojans in a 36-34, overtime victory over Fort Collins, Yazzie accounted for 333 of LHS’ 387 yards of offense (208 passing, 125 rushing), threw for three touchdowns and ran for another two.

Jen Williams, Erie softball: The Tigers scored 45 runs in three games last week including 18 against 5A stalwart Fossil Ridge. Williams had five hits in that game, and for the three games had nine hits, five runs, five RBIs and four doubles.
