F — AUSTIN GILLIES, Sr., Skyline: The co-Tri-Valley League Player of the Year bagged 29 goals for the Falcons, who made it to the 4A quarterfinals.

F — MICHAEL MOONEY, Sr., Broomfield: An unreal fall saw the Eagles striker finish seventh at state cross country and then score the championship winning goal over Denver East at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

F — CONNER PESKIN, Sr., Silver Creek: It’s in the Peskin genes to earn a spot on this team. Conner, whose brother Sean also landed here, was a force up top for the Raptors.

F — FERNANDO RUIZ, So., Centaurus: Was a welcome addition to the Warriors and seamlessly fit right in, scoring a team high 22 goals.

MF — A.J. ARROYO, Sr., Jefferson Academy: The Metro League senior of the year, Arroyo has been a constant playmaker in the middle for the Jags. He had seven goals and 15 assists this year.

MF — OMAR CASTRUITA, Jr., Boulder: One more year? Yes please. The BoCoPreps.com Player of the Year also earned All-American status from the Colorado coaches.

MF — STEPHEN GOTH, Sr., Legacy: The Lightning captain captured the attention of many in the rugged Front Range League and his coach called him “possibly the best wide midfielder in the area.”.

MF — NICK MCCABE, Sr., Boulder: Led the Panthers with 21 goals and also added 10 assists. And joins elite Panthers company (Castruita as well) with a 20 goal season.

MF — CHRISTIAN NUNEZ, So., Centaurus: A dynamic on-ball talent, Nunez was lights out in guiding the Warriors to the 4A title match. His goal against Niwot in the semis was highlight reel material.

D — CAMERON BROADHURST, Sr., Broomfield: The anchor of the state champions Eagles defense has earned back-to-back spots on this team.

D — NICHOLAS GRANT, Sr., Niwot: Solidified his spot on this team with a brilliant effort in the playoffs against Denver North. A big strong defender that not too many challenged one-on-one.

D — MACKLIN HARRINGTON, Sr., Monarch: A leader in the back for a very defensive-minded Coyotes side that began the season with six straight clean sheets.

D — M STEINER, Sr., Fairview: Was the glue that held the very raw Knights together early and on ultimately guided them all the way to the Class 5A quarterfinals.

GK — JOSE OGAZ, Sr., Broomfield: Cemented his selection with a brilliant championship that saw him make nine saves against Denver East to preserve his 11th clean sheet of the season.

GK — RODRIGO RUIZ, Sr., Centaurus: Was spectacular down the stretch for the Warriors making big save after big save. He kept his team in the finals against Air Academy.

Coach — LEE STANLEY, Centaurus: After a misstep in the first round last season, he used that to motivate his team all year long and it darn near resulted in a 4A state title.
