• Riddell recently kicked off season three of its Smarter Football program, inviting teams to apply for an equipment grant by demonstrating their commitment to advancing the game of football. Future Hall of Fame quarterback and Riddell brand ambassador, Peyton Manning, will join Riddell in reviewing this years applicants and selecting the winning teams. The Smarter Football program is a grassroots campaign that recognizes and rewards teams across the country for implementing smarter tactics on and off the field. • The Boulder Junior Panthers youth basketball organization is seeking volunteers to coach youth boys basketball teams. Ages range from 5th-8th grade. Interested candidates should be able to commit to two 1 1/2 hour practices on weekday evenings and coaching Sunday games around the Denver Metro area. Practices begin mid October and the season runs through February. Coaching experience or experience working with children/adolescents is preferred.
