Isaac Green, Monarch track and field: The only male athlete to break a meet record at the Boulder County Invitational, the University of Washington-bound Coyotes senior won the boys 800-meter run in 1 minute, 53.79 seconds just a week after winning the mile at the Arcadia Invitational national meet.
Alexis Carroll, Niwot track and field: Helping lead the Cougars to their eighth straight Boulder County Invitational team title, she won the 100-meter hurdles and the triple jump, and finished runner-up in the long jump.
