At the Boulder County Track Championships on Tuesday at Longmont High School, an old school record at Frederick High School finally fell.

In the girls 400-meter relay, the Warriors relay group – Marin Downs, Julia Wyatt, Lilliana Nives-Martin and Jordan Sleeth – finished with a time of 51.10 seconds. The time was good enough to place them sixth, but also broke the previous school record of 52.14 that had stood since 1996.

Frederick finished 10th in the girls team scoring and 12th in the boys team scoring on Tuesday.
