In a Front Range League game on Thursday hosted by the Poudre Impalas, Boulder baseball proved to be superior in a low-scoring 3-0 victory.

On the offensive front, Ari Barnett drove in all three of the runs for the Panthers through a two-run home run and a sacrifice fly. Defensively, winning pitcher Wyatt Linde sealed the deal with an impressive game. Linde, who pitched the entire game, allowed only three hits and had 11 strikeouts for Boulder. The combination of strong efforts by Barnett and Linde, who also did not allow a walk, provided the extra edge over Poudre.

The Boulder boys baseball squad will host Broomfield this Saturday at 11 a.m. It will be the first time Boulder coach Colt Sedbrook, a former standout at Broomfield, takes on his alma mater.
