Johnny Feauto, Fairview football: In what could prove to be the game of the year, the Knights’ senior quarterback turned in a performance for the ages. While leading his team to a 50-49 victory over Legacy with a gutsy two-point conversion pass, Feauto amassed 546 passing yards, which puts him fifth on the all-time list of single-game passing performances in Colorado prep history. Feauto also threw five touchdowns.

Girls

Maya Browning, Fairview cross country: The way the Knights youngster ended the 2014 season sure begs some interesting questions about what her future may hold. Just a sophomore, Browning finished the state meet course at the Norris-Penrose Event Center in 19 minutes, 25.1 seconds to take second place overall in 5A. Browning placed fourth as a freshman in 2013.
