COLLEGE PROSPECTS: Wood, Ridnell, Thibedeau, Demo, Dillon.

MUST-SEE GAME: Sept. 27 at Gilpin County.

STRENGTHS: Nederland’s experience will be key, as they return eight starters, all of whom played both sides of the ball. The Panthers also return all their offensive linemen. Wood, a two-year starter, also returns at quarterback with a solid group of talented skill players.

WEAKNESSES: The transition to 8-Man football will take some time to adapt to and depth is always a concern at Nederland, especially with several early-season injuries already sideling players. The team will also have to shake off several losing seasons and attempt to establish a winning attitude.
