STRENGTHS: A new regime means freshness and newfound motivation, particularly for playmaking athletes in the ramped-up passing game. Linebacking corps, led by Berringer and Roper, is ultra-solid.

WEAKNESSES: The offense might take a few weeks to get on track. Five players were vying for the starting quarterback position in a completely new offense. In addition, two 1,000-yard backs graduated.
