Jami Albert, Jr., Niwot: Bowed out in the 4A state quarterfinals at No. 3 singles for the Cougars, but rallied to finish fourth in Pueblo.

Glenna Gee-Taylor, Sr., Centaurus: Didn’t play as much high school tennis this year as she probably would have liked, but the Warriors senior is undoubtedly one of the best in the area.

Katie Li, Sr., Fairview: After winning three straight titles at No. 3, she found the going a little tougher at No. 1, but held her own making it to the state quarterfinals.

Meagan Londa, Sr., Niwot: Matured a ton in her senior season, especially in the mental aspect of the game, and finished fourth at No. 2 sinlges in Class 4A.

Natalie Munson, So., Fairview: It will be exciting to see the progress she makes next season with an already explosive baseline game. She be hungry after back-to-back 5A state runner-up finishes at No. 2 singles.

Frauke Aumann, Jr. and Geya Kairamkonda, Jr., Niwot: The Cougars No. 4 doubles team was a set away from a state title, losing a heartbreaking three-setter to St. Mary’s Academy.

Lauren Richards, Sr. and Maura Derr, Jr., Niwot: The Cougars top doubles team cruised to the state title match only to be dispatched by an all-freshman duo from team state champion Cheyenne Mountain.

Ellie Savage, Fr. and Carolyn Roberts, So., Fairview: Coach Susan Stendrud would like nothing more than to keep these two together. They got better as the season rolled along and nearly won a state title at No. 4 doubles.

Nonie Ziel, Sr. and Emma Lerner, So., Niwot: Put up a huge fight in the semifinals agaisnt Cheyenne Mountain, losing 6-4, 7-5, but rallied to capture third place at No. 3 doubles for the Cougars.

Coach of the Year — Aimee Irwin, Niwot: The second-year Cougars coach guided her experienced club to a fourth-place finish at a loaded Class 4A tournament in Pueblo.
