Notes: Cheyenne Mountain used goals from Hannah Gerdin and Amanda Burke to defeat Broomfield 2-0 in last year’s title game … Both players return this season for the Indians, with Gerdin leading Cheyenne Mountain with 10 goals … Broomfield’s prolific offense has registered 85 goals this season, 32 more than the Eagles collected heading into last year’s title game … Cheyenne Mountain’s defense, led by junior goalie Hunter Peifer, has allowed only six goals all season and has not surrendered more than one goal in any game … Cheyenne Mountain senior Ellen Smith has recorded five goals and a team-leading 14 assists. Smith scored the Indians’ lone goal in their semifinal win against Green Mountain … Brittney Stark leads Broomfield with 22 goals and has scored six in the Eagles’ past three tournament victories … Four other players have scored at least eight goals for Broomfield, including Michaela Stark (14), Katie Forsee (11), Kristin Snyder (8), and Makena Bambei (8).
