CLASS 5A, Northern Region: Boulder finished fifth as a team at Highland Meadows, but they’ll still be bringing an entire foursome after the Panthers had a dynamic day on the links collectively. Alex Jaros led the way with a 12-over 83, while Aly Beeman, Danielle Picard and Leah Perletz were all within 12 strokes.

“We were able to start on time, and I think everyone got in before the rains came,” Boulder coach Ryan Bishop said. “We were tracking our girls all day, and when they came in they were all gathered around the scoreboard. They announced the cutoff, and all of them were just jumping up and down in excitement. They were happy for each other, all four of them getting to go, more than for themselves.”

Legacy’s dynamic duo of Jennifer and Sarah Hankins, meanwhile, conquered the links, finishing second and third with scores of 1-over 72 and 2-over 73, respectively. The Lightning got a third representative with Andrea Hoos’ 85.

CLASS 4A, Northern Region: At the Olde Course in Loveland, Broomfield shot a team total of 259 to beat Estes Park by two strokes and automatically qualify their team for state. Carson Platnick shot a 9-over 81 to finish in a tie for second and Maddie Kern, Skylar George and Hope Kim followed within 13 strokes.
