Skyline’s Naomi Barron

Boys

Austin Kemp, Longmont basketball: Kemp has been shooting lights-out all season, but in two games last week the Trojans senior was as precise as a surgeon. The Trojans beat Silver Creek and Greeley Central, and Kemp poured in 19 and 25 points, respectively, in those contests. More impressive may be his combined 19 for 24 shooting effort, his best two-game stretch of the year. He added eight rebounds, two assists and a steal as LHS improved to 13-3.

Girls

Naomi Barron, Skyline basketball: The Falcons continue to try and keep their heads above water, and Barron last week did her part in helping Skyline go 1-1. She scored 17 points and added 10 rebounds in a big win against Mead, then had 10 points, five boards and three blocked shots in a loss against Berthoud. She added a pair of steals against both opponents, giving her multiple steals in six straight games.
