Luke Golter, Holy Family basketball: Golter, a junior guard, exceeded his scoring average in each of Holy Family’s two games last week — both of which came against some pretty salty teams on the road. He posted a season-high 20 points against Lutheran in a 69-53 victory, throwing in three rebounds, one assist and one steal, and then notched 15 points and seven rebounds as the Tigers downed rival Faith Christian to run their record to 12-0.
Annika Lai, Fairview basketball: Fairview ran the table for the week with Front Range League victories against Legacy, Monarch and Boulder, and Lai was lethal from the floor throughout the Knights’ season-best winning streak. She averaged 16 points per game on 44 percent shooting (20 for 45) and crashed the glass for 23 total rebounds (7.7 per game). Against the Coyotes, she also had three assists and three blocks, and she only had six total turnovers. Lai’s 14.8 scoring average puts her in the top 25 in Class 5A.
