Walker Harris, Monarch hockey — As Monarch racked up three wins by a combined score of 20-2, Harris was an one-man wrecking crew for the Coyotes with three multi-point games. He registered four points in victories against Steamboat Springs and Mullen, and added a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over Summit. He leads the team with 18 points now.

Katharine Kia, Peak to Peak basketball — The Pumas, ranked 10th in the latest AP prep poll in Class 3A, got back in the win column after just their second loss of the season the week before. Kia was instrumental in the victory against Denver Science & Technology, registering 13 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals against just one turnover in the 49-33 victory. The junior leads the team with a 14.6 scoring average.
