CADE MARTIN, Longmont Christian football — The Warriors earned a cross-bracket playoff game this week with the help of a nice winning streak to end the regular season, and Martin’s aerial skills were in full effect in a win against Justice. The sophomore quarterback went 19 for 30 for 299 yards and five touchdowns, adding 59 yards on the ground in a 34-20 victory. Martin’s favorite targets were seniors Lonnie Kee (157 yards, two TD’s) and Dylan Wehrli (124 yards, three TD’s).

DAILYN JOHNSON, Longmont volleyball — The Trojans continued a mastery of the Northern League with wins against Mountain View and Thompson Valley, and while Johnson had pretty much everything going in the two matches, she was especially effective on the blocks. Against the Mountain Lions, the senior had six total blocks, and she bested that by one against the Eagles to give her 13 for the week and 53 on the season (1.1 blocks per set). She added 32 total digs and 11 total kills.
