AURORA — After beginning the year with a trio of losses the Boulder High volleyball team has bounced back to win four matches in succession, the latest being a 3-0 sweep of Overland at the Trailblazers’ gym Tuesday.

Jenna Kube and Brooke Aschbacher each registered seven kills to lead the team while Joelle Burkhardt added 14 digs. Senior Bella Greer tallied 24 assists to lead the Panthers.

The win comes on the heels of an impressive turnaround at the Overland Classic over the weekend. After dropping its first match to Niwot on Saturday, Boulder bounced back to reel off three straight wins, the final coming over the host ‘Blazers and giving the Panthers a third-place finish. Greer was awarded Player of the Tournament honors along with junior teammate Natalie Stucka.

Boulder travels to Loveland Monday night to take on the Indians.
