DREW PASMA, Niwot tennis — Dipping his toe in singles play for the first time, Pasma looked very strong this past week in a pair of straight-set wins at No. 3 singles. Pasma beat Cameron Yee of Longmont 6-0, 6-1 to open the week and then followed that up with a 6-0, 6-1 victory as the Cougars defeated Rocky Mountain 7-0. Pasma was a state runner-up in doubles play last year.

BAILEY FLANAGAN, Fairview softball — Fairview split games last week but got a big win against city rival Boulder on Friday and Flanagan was at the center of the offense. In the 17-2 win, Flanagan went 3-for-4 with four RBI’s and three runs scored. For the week, the senior was 4-for-7 and did not commit any errors in the field.
