Fall, winter or spring, Deandra Elcock has been a standout on the athletic fields of play for Skyline for years. Soon she’ll take her talents to the Division-I college level.
The Falcons senior this week signed a national letter of intent to run track and field for the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Elcock, who also played volleyball and basketball for SHS, enters the state track meet seeded fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the long jump. She was second on the team in scoring for the basketball team in the winter and was a standout on the volleyball court as well.
A pair of Elcock’s basketball teammates also signed this week to play in college. Kylie Emanuel and Allison Curtis will both play at NAIA Missouri Valley College.
