JAYCOX COMMITS TO ADAMS STATE
Boulder girls basketball player Lena Jaycox verbally committed this week to play at Adams State College next season.
The 5-foot-7 senior guard was one of Class 5A’s top scorers this season, averaging 18.2 points per game in leading Boulder to a 14-11 season and berth in the second round of the state tournament.
NEXT-LEVEL HONORS
–Former Fairview standout Taylor Kitayama turned in an impressive run at the NCAA Division-III championships last weekend, achieving All-American status in seven different events for the second time in her career. She was part of the winning 800 free relay and a part of five school records, including in the 100 back and 100 fly.
