BOULDER — One. By one. By one. By one. Grandview slowly chipped away in the Class 5A girls basketball semifinals Thursday night with fourth-quarter free throws.

Then Justine Hall made a quick steal off an inbound with one minute to play, laid in a crucial bucket and followed it up with an and-1 free-throw. Just like that, Regis Jesuit had a four-point lead in the final minute.

The play propelled the Raiders to a 46-43 win over Grandview and to their fourth title game in six seasons.

“It was a battle,” Regis Jesuit coach Carl Mattei said.
