PCA HONORS PAIR OF LOCAL COACHES
Two local coaches are among the 50 finalists for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Double-Goal Coach Award.
Boulder boys soccer coach Hardy Kalisher, who led the Panthers to the Class 5A state title last fall, and Shining Mountain cross country coach John Hamilton, whose solid squad turned out the likes of standout Birdie Hutton in recent years, were the only two coaches from Colorado up for the award honoring coaches who strive to win “while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports to develop better people, better athletes.”
The PCA will announce its 20 award winners on March 19, honoring each with a trophy and $250.
