PAUL AIKEN
Centaurus coach Chad Senseney is entering his ninth season leading the Warriors program.

COACH: Chad Senseney (9th year, 56-32 record).

LAST YEAR: 4-6.

RETURNING STARTERS: Michael Devries (So., DL, 6-1, 245), Jesse Gritz (Sr., 6-1, 250), Tyler Harrington (So., LB, 5-10, 150), Bradley Lowry (Sr., OL, 5-8, 250), Tanner Martinelli (Sr., RB, 5-7, 150), Ryan Sapena (Sr., LB, 6-0, 155), J.J. Scott (Sr., RB/LB, 5-11, 170), David Shald (Sr., QB, 5-10, 180).

OTHERS TO WATCH: Matt Buchler (So., RB, 5-5, 140), Theron Crawford (Jr., LB, 5-10, 165), John Howard (Jr., QB, 5-9, 140), Brody Jaskul (Sr., WR, 6-0, 160), Matt Wright (Sr., WR, 5-11, 165).

COLLEGE PROSPECTS: Gritz, Lowry, Sapena, Scott, Shald.

MUST-SEE GAME: Oct. 26 at Holy Family.

STRENGTHS: Quarterback David Shald was groomed well last season, and the offense will receive a boost from J.J. Scott’s return from a leg injury he suffered midway through the year.

WEAKNESSES: The Warriors return only five starters on offense (no receivers) and four on D. There is good balance, however, on the distribution of the returning players.
