BOYS PEAK PERFORMERS

Miles McKenzie, Fairview, swimming: McKenzie led Fairview with two individual event wins in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke in the Knights’ dual against Greeley West.

Ryan Willis, Holy Family, track and field: Willis took first in the 110 and 300 hurdles to help Holy Family to a first place team finish at the Pre-Prom Invitational.

Trey Fleming, Silver Creek, baseball: Fleming went 2-5 at the plate with a triple and 3 RBIs to lead the Raptors to a close 7-6 win over Mountain View.

Jake Sarosi, Niwot, baseball: Went 3-4 at the plate with a double and home run for 2 RBIs.

 

GIRLS PEAK PERFORMERS

Carissa Kintzle, Holy Family, track and field: Kintzle helped Holy Family to a first place team finish at the Pre-Prom Invitational with her wins in the 100 and 300 meter hurdle events.

Glenna Gee-Taylor, Centaurus, tennis: Taylor led the Warriors’ 5-2 win over Silver Creek with a 6-0, 7-6 win at No. 1 singles over Amanda Higley.

Belle Morel, Peak to Peak, soccer: Morel scored two goals, the second coming three minutes into the second overtime to give Peak to Peak a 4-3 win over Colorado Academy.

 

 

NOTABLE

Alexander Dawson’s No. 1 singles player Caroline Hobbs and No. 2 doubles team of Rachel Clair and Nicole Finan have each only lost once this season at their respective positions.

Berkley Gamble’s second half goal gave Fairview girls soccer a 1-1 tie against current 5A No.1 Fossil Ridge after both teams failed to score in overtime.
