Couch’s effort helped lead Mead to a second-place finish in the team standings, and he will take an impressive 32-5 record into the state tournament.

McKrola led the streaking Mavericks to three victories last week, averaging 15.7 points and 8.7 rebounds during that span. McKrola made 14 of 23 shots from the field during wins against Lyons and Strasburg, and she also posted double-doubles against Strasburg (10 rebounds) and Lyons (11 rebounds).
