IF — JESSICA BALL, Sr., Legacy: Her glove worked like a suction cup in the infield and her bat like a anvil at the plate, finishing with 12 home runs.

IF — RACHEL OLSON, Sr., Silver Creek: A good leader with natural motivational skills, she finished with a .494 batting average and 29 RBIs.

IF — MAKAYLA KOVAC, Sr., Erie: An anchor in the infield, she not only put up big numbers but also helped keep the Tigers’ winning tradition alive during a bit of a transition season.

IF — JONI DAVENPORT, Sr., Monarch: Racked up a .623 batting average, good for third in Class 5A, to go along with 14 doubles and four home runs.

C — ELISE DUGWYLER, Sr., Silver Creek: Already riding a standout season, she exploded in four playoff games with four hard-hit home runs and nine RBIs.

OF — MONIQUE GONZALES, Sr., Holy Family: The center fielder led a stellar outfield for the Tigers, and she was just as clutch at the plate, finishing with six doubles and eight triples.

OF — BEKKA PROKASKI, Jr., Legacy: She set a school-record with 20 doubles, and that was just a small sample of her prowess in the batter’s box.

OF — AMANDA SIEDEM, Sr., Silver Creek: A broken wrist ended her season a few games early, but she had been a force roaming the outfield all year before that.

P — NICKIE BLUE, Jr., Niwot: Although a bit off from her numbers as a sophomore, she still finished with a 0.69 earned-run average and 164 strike outs.

P — RAINEY GAFFIN, Sr., Legacy: She led the Lightning to their fifth Class 5A state title in a row and will continue an already impressive career at the University of Tennessee.

P — NICOLE GARDON, Jr., Holy Family: She was part of a powerful batting order, but her pitching made it very difficult to outscore the Tigers in any game.

DH — JO BOLYARD, Jr., Peak to Peak: No, this is not a typo: .738 batting average, nine home runs and 41 RBIs. Certainly feared as a batter, she also did some damage as a pitcher.

U — LINDSEY SHIELS-BROPHY, Sr., Broomfield: The catcher led the Eagles in batting average (.579), RBIs (25) and doubles (12), and she tied for the team lead with four home runs.

COACH — DAWN GAFFIN, Legacy: Guided the Lightning to a fifth straight Class 5A state title.
