BRAYDEN BLICK, SR., SKYLINE: He cooled off a bit following a torrid stretch in which he averaged 34.0 points over the season's first four games but never lost the ability to shoot the ball from pretty much anywhere and ended up with 20.1 points and 4.3 rebounds.
TRENT DYKEMA, SR., SILVER CREEK: The 6-foot-4 Colorado School of Mines commit averaged 24.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while also coming up with 2.8 steals a game at the defensive end.
LUKE JOHNSON, SR., LONGMONT: An all-around stud, he averaged 23.0 points per game in the postseason to lead the Trojans to their first Class 4A state championships since 1942 and is the 2018 BoCoPreps.com Player of the Year.
DEVIN MARTINEZ, SR., BROOMFIELD: Explosive and always going 100-percent, he led the Eagles on a 16-win campaign with 15.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
CADEN SEHR, SR., LEGACY: The Lightning had an explosive offense in 2017-18 and he right in the middle of it with 16.3 points and 4.1 assists while also averaging 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game.
COACH - JEFF KLOSTER, LONGMONT: After so many season of coming close but not quite winning it all, the veteran head coach got his team to buy in completely and finally won the state championship he has been chasing for over 20 years as the Trojans' leader.
TANNER BAIRD, JR., HOLY FAMILY: Keeping the Tigers on track with his all-around game at both ends of the floor, he averaged 16.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals.
JAX WILKE, JR., MEAD: Emerging as one of the area's most versatile big men, the 6-foot-8 junior averaged 15.2 points and 7.9 rebounds while shooting 53 percent from the floor.
MARK DOLAN, JR., FAIRVIEW: The Knights reached the second round of the 5A postseason and he was one of the biggest reason why, averaging 13.7 points per game and shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
JEFFREY FARINEAU, SR., ERIE: Another area player that had a breakout season, the athletic senior small forward averaged 14.4 points and 7.6 rebounds and shot 44 percent from the floor.
TYLOR TRINH, SR., MONARCH: Bound for Colorado School of Mines along with Dykema, he came on strong down the home stretch of the season to lead the Coyotes with 14.2 points a game and shot 34 percent from behind the 3-point arc.
