FIRST TEAM
100 dash - WILL DOMIER, Jr., Holy Family: A relative newcomer to track and field, he burst onto the scene by winning Class 4A's shortest sprint championship with a time of 10.98 in the state finals.
200 dash - JORDAN XIONG, Sr., Broomfield: He capped his impressive sprinting career with a fifth-place finish and a time of 22.41 at this year's 4A state finals.
400 dash - JORDAN CHERIN, Sr., Shining Mountain: He set a 1A state meet record of 48.80 to win his third state title of the weekend and has now medaled in each event from the 100-3,200 in his high school career.
800 run - ISAAC FOURNIER, Sr., Boulder: At the end of his senior season, the Panthers' top distance runner ran 1:57.10 and walked away with a fourth-place medal at the 5A state championships.
1,600 run - ISAAC GREEN, Jr., Monarch: After placing first last season, the junior put up an outstanding time of 4:21.19 to place second in the 5A championship race his year.
3,200 run - PAUL ROBERTS, Sr., Lyons: Picking up two more state titles at his final state meet, he set a 2A state meet record with this year's championship time of 9:26.17.
110 hurdles - ELI SULLIVAN, Sr., Longmont: He made a run at the 4A state title and capped an impressive senior season by taking home the 4A bronze in 14.63.
300 hurdles - JOHNATHAN PENROSE, Sr., Broomfield: At the state meet, he threw down a 39.39 to place fifth in all of 5A.
400 relay - LONGMONT (Conlan Berger, Sr.; Eli Sullivan, Sr.; Logan Goodner, Sr.; Trevor Cook, Sr.): Winning two state titles in as many days, this senior group came up just short of setting a state record when they won the 4A championship race in 41.39.
800 relay - LONGMONT (Trevor Cook, Sr.; Conlan Berger, Sr.; Logan Goodner, Sr.; Eli Sullivan, Sr.): In their second state title of 2016, the Trojans group ran a 1:27.04 to win the 800-meter race.
1,600 relay - BROOMFIELD (Aron Gordillo, Jr.; Johnathan Penrose, Sr.; Jordan Xiong, Sr.; Dalton Ill, Sr.): A combined group of talented sprinters and hurdles both, the Eagles put together a relay time of 3:21.72 to place fifth at state.
3,200 relay - MONARCH (Isaac Green, Jr.; Ben Hogan, Sr.; William Dixon, So.; Zach Litoff, Jr.): This group not only won the 5A state championship but also set a school record time of 7:51.57 at the state meet.
High jump - BRYCE WILLIAMS, Sr., Broomfield: He cleared 6 feet, 2 inches at the 5A state meet to place seventh overall on the podium.
Pole vault - MAX MANSON, Fr., Monarch: The Coyotes freshmen cleared a major personal best at 15 feet, 7 inches and placed second at his first state meet, just three inches behind the winner.
Long jump - CONLAN BERGER, Sr., Longmont: His mark of 21 feet, 5.5 inches won his the 4A bronze medal.
Triple jump - TYLER THIMSEN, Jr., Jefferson Academy: In an event that included a new state meet record mark, he leapt 43 feet, 3.5 inches to place third in 3A.
Shot put - NICO HEINEKE MAGRI, Jr., Monarch: Missing the 5A podium by less than three feet, he threw 45-10 at state to place 14th.
Discus - BROCK KNECHTEL, Jr., Silver Creek: He threw 157-6 at the state meet to claim fourth place and set up a potentially big senior year.
Coach - KEVIN AKERS, Longmont: In his third season at the helm, he oversaw multiple state titles, school records and a fourth-place overall finish in 4A.
