C — Max Browne, Sr., Silver Creek: Just a clutch player all-around, Browne batted .425, tallied 31 hits and drove in 26 runs for the Northern League champions.

C — Mason Speirs, Sr., Broomfield: Speirs helped guide a good pitching staff for the Eagles, and he led a power-packed lineup with a .570 on-base percentage (25 hits, 19 walks).

INF — Skyler Messinger, Sr., Niwot: A fluid fielder, Messinger was the Northern League's position player of the year after hitting .484 with 16 extra-base hits.

INF — Matt Turner, Sr., Broomfield: Among his 33 hits were six home runs and 18 extra-base knocks overall. The lanky senior also showed wheels with eight steals.

INF — Colby Deaville, Sr., Legacy: One of several contributing seniors to the Legacy season, Deaville hit .352 but more importantly accounted for 25 runs and 25 RBI.

INF — Eric Gambon, Sr., Centaurus: As solid a fielding first baseman as they come, Gambon led CHS with 13 extra-base hits and 17 RBI to earn all-conference honors.

INF — Colton Clingman, Sr., Holy Family: The Tigers' in-the-clutch contributor belted 30 hits and also found a way to garner four wins and three saves on the hill.

OF — George Ramirez, Sr., Silver Creek: Fun-to-watch centerfielder grinded out a .380 average with 10 doubles as the Raptors' leadoff man.


OF — Jake Willemsen, Sr., Fairview: The center fielder had a clean sheet defensively and was another mainstay in the FHS lineup, batting .359 with 16 RBI.

OF — Ross Smith, Jr., Legacy: The Lightning forged their way to the 5A state tournament with help from Smith's team leading 29 RBI.

OF — Tommy Shriver, Sr., Peak to Peak: In addition to going 9-1 with 2.51 ERA in 61 innings, Shriver manned right field the other half of the season and drew a .517 OBP.

DH — Seth Clemente, Sr., Dawson School: The Mustangs' shortstop had 81 hits the past two years and scored 67 times. All the numbers support a true hitter even at the small-school level.

DH — Casey Lindholm, Sr., Jefferson Academy: The Jags' senior managed to slug .947 (12 doubles, five home runs) while striking out just six times.

P — Cole Winn, Jr., Silver Creek: The player of the year overpowered opponents with speed and location, registering a 10-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio on his way to a 9-1 mark.

P — James Notary, Sr., Broomfield: Notable numbers abound for future Horned Frog, but among the tops were a pair of one-hit shutouts (Silver Creek, Mountain Range) and 107 total strikeouts.

P — Josh Chamberlain, Sr., Legacy: The staff ace for a state tournament qualifier, Chamberlain went 6-3 with a 3.08 ERA against some of the state's toughest competition.

P — Brayden Weyer, Sr., Peak to Peak: Seattle University commit won two games and saved two others while accumulating a 1.73 ERA and 46 strikeouts in just 28.1 innings.

P — Dagin Renck, Sr., Longmont: Longmont's innings-eater for two straight years, Renck wrapped up his prep career with a 5-3 record and a 3.48 ERA to go along with 58 whiffs.

UTIL — Tyler Carpenter, Sr., Fairview: Corner infielder had a .554 OBP with a team-most 12 extra-base hits but also proved to be the Knights' most consistent starting pitcher (3-1, 3.43 ERA).

Coach — Ken Rosales, Lyons: Without the benefit of a ton of varsity experience, the Lions turned from a six-win team in 2016 to a 19-4 squad in 2017 that made the 2A semifinals.
