When Mead's Emilio Chavez was taken down by Pueblo East's Noah Rivera in the first period of their wrestling match at 152 pounds on Thursday night, it served as a wake-up call that Chavez was indeed back at the state tournament.

02/16/2019 07:22 PM MST - Beau Hostler set the tone for Broomfield with a tight victory in his regional final, and teammate Darren Green quickly followed suit. Bryant Walker then added another and Tyler Carpenter capped off the tournament with a fourth title for the Eagles, who finished second in Class 4A Region 4 on Saturday afternoon and qualified seven wrestlers into next week's state tournament at the Pepsi Center. Full Story
