Coach: Ryan Beavers

Record (tournament seed): 16-4-1 (4A No. 8 seed)

First round opponent: No. 9 Conifer (18-4)

Outlook: Silver Creek smashed its way to a share of the Northern League championship hitting .444 this season as a team, and the Raptors will look to put together a couple of strong offensive performances to get to Saturday's play. Kayla Harper has 44 hits this year and seven players have more than 20 base knocks, an expression of the team's depth. What has put SCHS over the top lately, though, is improved defense the second half of the season, and that has helped the pitching rotation of Jetta Nannen, Dana Dwyer and Kendra Green find a comfort zone to just pitch the way they know how. Conifer is a team that can't be taken lightly, having scored 324 runs with 25 home runs to its credit, too. Sophomore Josie Nichols has 46 RBI (fifth highest total in Colorado) and is also the Lobos' pitching ace, while freshman Naomi Merritt has six bombs.
