UTIL — Jetta Nannen, So., Silver Creek: Led power-packed Raptors with .571 average, 10 HR and 42 RBI; As a pitcher, went 8-2 with 2.62 ERA.

DH — Lauren Strathearn, So., Legacy: Hit .671 with a mind-boggling 53 hits, and also stole 25 bags.

P — Rio Sanchez, Sr., Erie: Handcuffed opponents to the tune of a 0.79 ERA, 245 strikeouts and a 23-1 record. Just 1 in 5 batters reached base on her.

P — Taylor Gilmore, Sr., Broomfield: Finished with 22 wins, a sub-1.00 ERA and 188 K's; was equally dangerous at the plate (.464 BA, 7 HR's).

Coach — Paula Seifried, Broomfield: Team's commitment to playing elite defensively suggests Seifried investing in all the little details, and it proved worthwhile in a run to the 5A state championship game.
