STRENGTHS: Depth at the skill positions and an improving offensive line should give the Mavericks a solid offensive attack.

WEAKNESSES: Lack of confidence. Mavericks have won only three games in their first two seasons of varsity play, and now they move into the more demanding Class 3A Tri-Valley League.
