MAYA BROWNING, Jr., Fairview — Ran a season best 18:39 at the Liberty Bell and finished seventh at the state meet in 19:09.

CLAUDIA BURGESS, So., Boulder — The young phenom won the Class 5A Region 3 meet (18:51), finished fifth at state and also ran 18:34 at the Liberty Bell.

McKENZIE GAINES, Fr., Broomfield — Helped Broomfield win the 5A team title as the fifth scorer, and just ran an 18:46 at the Nike Southwest meet.

AUDREY LOOKNER, Jr., Monarch — Finished off an outstanding season as Monarch's highest finisher at state (17th overall, 19:35) and timed out at 18:36 at the Liberty Bell.

QUINN McCONNELL, Fr., Peak to Peak — The runner of the year put her stamp on the season with a best in-state time of 18:32 at regionals, then went out and won the 3A state title.

EMILY MITCHEM, So., Broomfield — Her 18:49 at Broomfield's regional was a season best until she ran 18:26 in Arizona this past weekend.

ANNA SCHULTS, Fr., Peak to Peak — Another young talent for the Pumas, Schults' 18:50 at state was the ninth fastest girls time of the day.

COACH — Greg Weich, Broomfield: A fixture in the sport, Weich helped bring together an Eagles girls squad that won 5A with freshmen and sophomores scoring all the points.
