Girls peak performers

Morgan Powers, Alexander Dawson, basketball: Scored 14 points and added 6 rebounds as her squad fell in the first round of their district tournament. The fifth-seeded Mustangs will now take on No. 9 seed Lyons Thursday at Dawson.

Ivy Devries, Peak to Peak, basketball: Went for a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards as the Pumas came up just short in the first round on the 3A Metro League Tournament. They will play again Friday in the consolation semis.
