Centaurus (3-1), which will take on Standley Lake in the second round on Thursday, jumped to a 30-12 halftime lead and coasted from there. Ten different Warriors scored, with Anna Hubbell (10 points) also reaching double figures.

The defending 5A champs struggled with the 4A Tigers before limiting EHS to four points in the final quarter to escape with the win.

Emiley Lopez and Mackenzie Neely splashed through two 3-pointers apiece for the Lightning (2-1), which didn't register a double-digit scorer. Legacy led 30-26 entering the fourth and clamped down to deny the Tigers (1-1) a comeback.

Erie guard Amanda Ochoa led all scorers with 14 points.
