Longmont was leading 12-0 with 9:45 left in the game, but the Rough Riders scored on a safety and quickly added two touchdown runs from Angelo Hurtado and Trent Beall to complete the comeback and stun the Trojans.
"After that safety I said 'the momentum is ours and we're going to win this football game," Roosevelt coach Lane Wasinger told the Greeley Tribune. "And they bought in and believed it. Every down after that they played so hard."
