• The annual Boulder vs. Fairview football game at 5 p.m. on Sept. 8 at Recht Field will also host Youth Football Night in Boulder. Any youth football player wearing a youth team jersey will get in free with a paying adult. • Riddell recently kicked off season three of its Smarter Football program, inviting teams to apply for an equipment grant by demonstrating their commitment to advancing the game of football. Future Hall of Fame quarterback and Riddell brand ambassador, Peyton Manning, will join Riddell in reviewing this years applicants and selecting the winning teams. The Smarter Football program is a grassroots campaign that recognizes and rewards teams across the country for implementing smarter tactics on and off the field.
