Given the recent success of both Broomfield and Holy Family's basketball programs, it is no surprise the schools' regular-season series has become one of the hottest tickets in town. The past two years, faithful from each school have filled the gym for the boys and girls doubleheader.
The teams' upcoming meeting Friday at Holy Family is expected to be no less popular. In turn, it is time for Eagles and Tigers' fans to start thinking about getting their tickets. They are all being pre-sold for the 5 p.m. game between Class 4A top-ranked Broomfield girls and 3A's fourth-ranked Holy Family game and 7 p.m. meeting between the Broomfield boys and second-ranked Holy Family. There will none sold on the evening of the game.
Tickets for the game are on sale starting today, the cost is $5 per person, with one ticket gaining admittance for both games. Tickets are available by emailing the Holy Family athletic department. Contact athletic director Ben Peterson: email@example.com or athletic assistant Mitch Martinez: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Presently, each school has dominated one of the series with Holy Family girls winning the past two meeting and the Broomfield chalking up two wins on the boy's side. The Tigers' gym holds 1,200, so tickets will go fast.
