BOULDER -- The awards and honors keep rolling in from Boulder High School's memorable run to the Class 5A boys soccer state championship.
Late last week, Panthers coach Hardy Kalisher was named the National Soccer Coaches Association/Adidas Regional High School Coach of the Year for the association's big-school division.
Kalisher automatically becomes a finalist, in addition to six other regional coaches of the year, for the NSCAA/Adidas National Coach of the Year honor. That award will be announced in mid-January during the NSCAA honors banquet in Indianapolis.
Boulder endured a 2-5 start against a rugged early schedule before embarking on an epic trek that ended with a 3-1 win against Smoky Hill in the Class 5A
